Cross-country season kicks off at Pinetree

TBirds started the cross-country season strongly at the Pinetree Classic in Coquitlam. Congratulations to Charlie Ford on finishing first in her race. Theo Bentley and Finley Butler grabbed second places in their respective races, while Sophie Forsyth, Jonah Glover-Cook and Freya Savage earned fourth place ribbons. Miller Cumming and Chloe Cady earned fifth place finishes and Lauren Lecky and Sophie Morris finished 8th; Anna Cumming and Jocelyn Chambers 9th in their races and Heather Gadalla finished 13th. Noah Skarsgard had a good first outing finishing in 12:30 in the 2001-2002 race.

Ben Paetzel, Lynden Savage and Callum McKenzie all had strong outings in the mixed race where they ran up with grade 10 athletes.

The 2014 Spring Tour will be departing for San Diego on March 15 2014 and returning March 23 2014. Please mark it off in your calendars, and start the negotiations with your parents.
