Strong Results from National Championships in Toronto

The Thunderbirds came home with three gold, two silver and one 7th place finish from the National Track and Field Championships held in Toronto this past weekend. The Thunderbirds took the top two spots in both men's and women's javelin, as well as a gold for Reid Gustavson in the decathalon with a score of 7146 points and a 7th place finish for Rohan Stewart in the 200m.

Strong Showing for Thunderbirds at Langley Pacific Invitational

The Thunderbirds turned in some strong results this past weekend at the Langley Pacific Invitational.

Multiple event winners included Marie Lou Forsyth, who won the 10 year old section of discus, shot put, and long jump. She finished fourth in the 60m, 100m, and tied for fourth in the high jump.

James Sujir also had an impressive weekend, winning the 9 year old section of the 100m and long jump, as well as winning and setting a new meet record in the 80m hurdles with a time of 11.42 seconds. 

The Thunderbirds dominated the hurdles events this weekend, taking the top three spots in the 16-19 section of the mens 110m hurdles.
