BC Elementary Success

The JD athletes performed admirably on this past weekend at the Minoru Track in Richmond. It was hearening to see so many participating for either the club or their schools. For those representing the club, highlights included:

Megan Fjell taking 2nd in the 1200m and 3rd in the 800 in big personal best times, and

Max Marshall earning a gold, silver and bronze in the 200, long jump and 100m respectively

Dehlia Warrington earning a second and third place in long jump and 600m

Equally impressive was the performances of our high jumpers. Luke Polijak cleared 1.45 for 3rd place and narrowly shaved the bar off at 1.50m. Thomas Samis (1.35m), Hella-Marie Dolman (1.15m for 1st place), Jessica Kieffer (2nd in 1.05), Finley Butler (4th in 1m), Issabella Stuart (PB of 1m) and Lucie and Sofia Warrington both cleared 1.30m for personal bests.

There were in total sixty three seasonal best performances by Thunderbird athletes at the meet. Well done!
